Adrian Cornejo

My work is an exploration of relationships, the various dynamics people have with one another, be they love, desire, rejection, hate, abuse, respect, etc... I illustrate these dynamics through a variety of methods: painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, etc... and through a variety of materials: carbon/charcoal, hand sanitizer, cassette tape and wind, etc... The purpose of this work is to provide viewers an opportunity to reflect on the relationships in which they participate, potentially resulting in greater awareness and accountability of the effect they have on those around them.
