Through art, I attempt to capture delicate, beautiful, and personal moments in life to visually navigate the female experience as a woman of color. My work illustrates the trials and tribulations of exploring one’s identity in an attempt to define it in a world in which female, queer, black, and brown bodies are often politicized and disregarded.
