Come join FORCE (Feminists Organized to Resist, Create and Empower) for their annual SlutWalk on November 8!
SlutWalk is both a protest against slut shaming and rape culture, and a celebration of our bodies, self-expression, and love. We do SlutWalk because we recognize the systems of oppressions that leave marginalized folks isolated, exploited, and underrepresented. So, SlutWalk is made to center queer and trans BIPOC survivors. These same systems of oppressions leaves us in a world where self-care is a luxury, so when we do SlutWalk, it is not only centering survivors, but it is also leaving us with an imagination of what an utopia can look like.
Join us on the UA Mall across from the Science & Engineering Library from 5-8pm for an open mic performance (that anyone can participate in), music, fun prizes, and community!
