El lado oscuro de la migración/ The Dark Side of Migration

Luis Sotero

"The Dark Side of Migration" is inspired by painter Luis Sotero's lived experience as a migrant crossed the desert and who was deported. Sotero's paintings illustrate the dark side of migration that is rarely told and visualized.

Todo Para Vivir/ Everything For Life

Moysés Zúñiga Santiago

“Everything For Life” features the work of Moysés Zúñiga, a renowned photojournalist from Chiapas who has been documenting for more than 15 years “La Bestia,” the freight train undocumented migrants use to get from the southern Mexican border with Guatemala to the U.S. border. Zúñiga's photographs create a visual and human testimony of a violent, dehumanizing, and often deadly journey.
