DAGS

DAGS is a portrait and fine art photographer based in Tucson, Arizona. She makes work about identity in terms of self-expression, existence within a community, and cultivating connections. She searches to redefine the familiar and go beyond her comfort zone. She thrives on exploring how she presents herself to the world and unpacking how it affects her mentally, emotionally, and physically. As a queer artist, who has stifled this part of herself, she has been able to tap into this newfound freedom of self-expression that drives her self-portrait work.
