Through my art I aim to explore the body alongside its environment, whether that be the physical outside world or the internal personal world. These pieces are a conversation with the innermost parts of myself– whether that be conversations I’ve only had when I’ve closed my eyes, ones I’ve had staring in the mirror, or ones I have yet to have. These paintings can be whatever you want or need them to be about, but I just hope that while viewing them you’re able to see a part of yourself reflected within this art. All of my artwork is done with mixed media, and the result is this wonderful overlap of creation and unity that reflects our own ability to make art to give meaning to this thing we call life.
