UNSETTLED is an award-winning documentary that follows the journeys of four LGBTQ+ refugees and asylum seekers. Subhi, Cheyenne & Mari, and Junior reveal their individual stories of fleeing intense persecution in Africa and the Middle East to resettle in the United States. Yet as new leadership in America drastically restricts the flow of refugees and asylum seekers, Subhi, Cheyenne & Mari, and Junior find that building a new life in their adopted nation becomes a precarious undertaking. UNSETTLED sheds light onto the costs persecuted immigrants pay for seeking refuge and reveals how everyday Americans are stepping forward to help those most in need.
