Come join us as we take a look at some specific fanworks that exemplify this, including fan vids like: straightening up the house - by Eruthros that examines the LGBTQIA erasure in the Marvel movies, and How Much is that Geisha in the window by Lierdumoa that examines the lack of Asian actors in Firefly in conjunction with the use of Asian culture and the undertones of southern glory culture seen in the browncoats.
