Seed Grants

Apply today for one of 3 seed grants–now being funded at $3,000 each!

The Institute for LGBT Studies and the Confluencenter for Creative Inquiry are partnering through our shared missions as university-wide research institutes for innovative inquiry across disciplines. Through our partnership emerges an updated opportunity for faculty affiliated with the Institute for LGBT Studies to design and propose collaborative interdisciplinary research and writing projects (think: research/writing/reading clusters).

Seed grants are intended to support innovative and interdisciplinary research and writing projects that can turn into collaborative proposals for external funding. Efforts to secure external funding, to include identifying grant opportunities, will be supported with the assistance of Research Development Associates affiliated with the Office of Research, Discovery & Innovation.

Funding will be awarded to members of the iLGBT’s Faculty Advisory Committee, FAC, and Affiliated Faculty for early-design collaborative projects that bring together voices and visions for research innovations.
