Max Strassfeld received his PhD in Religious Studies from Stanford University. He was a Frankel Fellow at the University of Michigan and is currently an Assistant Professor of Religious Studies and Classics at the University of Arizona. His current book project is entitled: Transing the Talmud: Androgynes and Eunuchs in Rabbinic Literature. Spring semester I'll be teaching RELI 363 Religion and Sex and RELI 498 Senior Capstone in Religious Studies. Publications: my article in Journal of Feminist Studies in Religion is out.
